As you might have heard before, happiness is not a destination, is not giving by something outside of your control, is not a consequence of the circumstances that surround you.
Happiness is a way of life, is a state of mind; it’s the result of how you decide to interpret every little thing that is happening around you. That is why you will see people with everything that are unhappy and some others that seems that life is going against them, but somehow they managed to keep their smile running every day.
It is very common for us to focus most of our daily energy in the negative things of live, rather than in the positive ones.
How many times a day you talk or think about the things you hate, the ones that “really annoy you”, or “drive you crazy”, and how many times you mention the ones you love or make you happy?
You can wait for happiness to just happen, but I wouldn’t recommend you to do that. Just like in anything in life, it is better if you decide to make it happen and put an effort into it. Either if its love, making friends, earning more money, whatever it is that you want in your life, you need to dedicate time to achieve that goal.
Well, there is many little tips for that. I won’t go deep into analyzing the why’s of this tips, I’ll just give you a short checklist and we’ll talk about them other day.
This are just some examples, there is many other little things that you could do that would affect to your state of mind. I encourage you to do this little things, because happiness is everything we want in life, everything else are just means to achieve this goal.
